The commune of TRAVAILLAN and the vineyard PLAN DE DIEU received AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages status in 1983. Since 2004, the AOC Plan de Dieu Villages has also been recognised for its quality and the unique wines it produces.

The vineyard comprises about 67 hectares in total of which 50 have AOC status and 8 produce Vin de Pays wines. It is planted with red varieties Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre, as well as the white grapes Clairette, Bourboulenc and Grenache blanc.
